Frenemies come without any form,
And stay with us all day long.
It's hard to trust the words they’ve spoken,
As they never let their hearts be open.
They’re full of contempt and neglect,
Yet they linger for our hearts' content.
You see them wandering everywhere,
Knowing they can’t stand your success anywhere.
Be careful and trust your instinct,
For they have a nature that’s distinct.
They eat with you and laugh along,
But hardly wish you well; it feels wrong!
They gel with you for their own gain,
Yet make hell for you, causing pain.
Still, I wonder what they truly seek,
When all they do is create havoc and grief.
So beware of frenemies,
For they’re more venomous than enemies.
Find real friends, for they never stray,
And are with you at every turn, every day.
